Food Coupons
This economy is simply insane. Stocks are falling and umemployment is reaching all time highs. It doesn’t seem like anything is going to turn around soon. There are basically only two things that we can do:
- Make more money on our own.
- Save money by making smart choices.
The second option is definitely the easiest because almost all of us spend money on things that don’t matter. Lately I’ve been thinking about a lot of different ways that I can save money and one of them is by using food coupons.
There are a lot of different food coupons out there and to make sure that I could help as much as possible, I wanted to outline some of the ones that I’m aware of.
Fast Food Coupons
Most fast food chains provide coupons that can be used to save money. Many of them will distribute these coupons in the mail and in newspapers. They will also often create printable coupons that are distributed online. You simply open up a PDF and print it out. The coupon can be presented at the register just like a coupon that you find in the newspaper or in the mail.
Grocery Store Food Coupons
Almost everyone knows about grocery store coupons because we always see them in the Sunday paper. We also see them in the mail and you usually get them every time you check out at the grocery store. Stores provide coupons because it gets you to come back and spend more and more money. Sure, you save some money but the store ultimately is the one that wins. If you simply use food coupons to get better deals on food that you already buy, you will definitely come out on top.
Restaurant Food Coupons
Most restaurants provide food coupons and you can generally find them in magazines and in discount books. These discount books are often distributed by schools to raise money. Sometimes high schools have them and surprisingly they are sometimes sold door-to-door.
Bulk Food Coupons
Large stores like Sam’s Club and Costco often have coupons that are distributed through the mail. I get a Costco flyer in the mail every month and it sometimes has really great coupons for food. I always look through it to see if there’s anything that I need to pick up for my food storage. Buying food this way is generally cheaper anyway and by taking the time to find coupons you can save even more.
